The A830L is a budget oriented led multi meter. It has transistor test, AC/DC voltage, back lighting and very short leads. It's diode test function is also 2k ohm setting. It does audible continuity test. Uses 9v battery, not included. Hold function works in any range setting.

Simple, yet accurate multimeter. Everything works just fine, readings are within margin of error, show pretty much exactly the same values as my other, more expensive multimeter. LED Screen is very bright when pressing the light button, screen brightness then slowly fades back until button is pressed anew. Has a hold button to save the last shown value. Instruction manual is surprisingly succinct and understandable. Not some chinenglish gibberish. I approve.
