There is a photo attached of a few pens, comparing the width of the nibs. I'd say this is a medium pen. It's a bit more scratchy than the Pilot or the Monteverde, but then I could buy 44 JinHao 126 pens for the price of that one Monteverde. The refillable cartridge works, but I'm a bit confused by the loose spring in the ink chamber. It's not acting as a spring. It might just be an easy way to stop the plunger going where it's not supposed to. The clip is actually a spring loaded lever, it's very nice and I wish my expensive pens would copy this JinHao design! Overall I'm really happy with this, it's a bargain and I'd strongly recommend it.
