I have not extensively tested the board yet but ran a couple simple sketches and it works just fine. No problems with the USB chip. In fact it's far better than a fake FTDI chip that renders board useless. That's a good buy. Price even went down since I ordered it ! Wish there were ATmega2560 boards with a much smaller form factor (I don't mind standard form factor shields) at such a reasonable price.
