bikinidan You wouldn't be a resident of Denmark, South Carolina, would you? Because there is something definitely fishy about your post here.
On loss of signal from the transmitter the motor shuts off completely plus you get plenty of warning beeps from the transmitter when you are getting near to the limits. So, unless you were being dumb enough to try flying this small model in a typhoon, there is no way that it "just flew away!"
Methinks the laddie doth protest too much - like a Horizon Hobby troll!

BG871253361 nope Michigan and yes I agree it should have cut off and crashed, at least I'd know where and what happened lol. she just flew off wouldn't respond and kept flying lol. not a horizon snob I've ordered other planes and had no issue at all but this one, at least the one I got had an issue. looked like a good flyer 😆 it may be in Ohio by now if the battery didn't die
