My 6 year old boy inserted the components and I soldered them. Worked first time. It's good that the instructions are minimal as it forces you to think which adds to the challenge. I won't tell you what the buttons do as I would spoil your fun. I added a 7805 voltage regulator and a two 10nF capacitors on the back so I can run the clock in my car from 13.8 Volts. Reccomended!
