The least costly way to adapt those old lenses and some like the Helios lens can focus to infinity if the back lens is shimmed (about 15 mm further to the back). Because they are ultrathin you have the best change to get a nice focus range the best way to use them is buy one for each m42 lens and glue them on. That way they won't loosen when the focus is stiff.
