In person it is way large than you might expect. Accuracy seems of the bubble (size of the bubble) seems to be around 0.5 degrees. The precision is not perfect, calibration testing (just place it on flat and seemingly level surface ten turn it 90 degrees 3 times) shows that it tilts slightly to one side. This could easily be fixed in production by sanding the plastic. There is no damage to the edge underneath so this might be a manufacturer tolerance issue or variations in the molding. I might use some sandpaper underneath later to try and calibrate it. If you require precision down to about 1 degree though then this is good enough. Being so large also makes it quick/easy to to check the level. I kinda wish I had also gotten one slightly smaller as it's almost too big sometimes. A two pack with this one + a smaller one would be a nice gift to photographers and filmmakers.
