good quaility plastic. mate finish screws are included will not be compatible with all frames. The smaller lip on the other side of the protection may not fit your frame if the end of the arms aren't round. I had to cut of the bottom lip to fit my Armattan frame (see picture)

Fits nice with Lisam LS-210 + my Racerstar BR 2205 motors. Comes with long screws, but I used the racestar longer screws. Still didn't crashed, I hope it survive well. It protects the upper part of the motor and the screws.
