Viald According description, it balances the cell for discharging but also for charging. In both case with charge and discharge security.

BVM Thesame happened to me: ordered 3 boards and none of them charges the batteries. The description explicitly mentions "Overcharge protection" meaning to me that it should work as a charger. My configuration is 4S. The load can discharge the batteries but when applied the external power source ("Charge" on the schematic) the batteries remain discharged forever - at least overnight.
