A device for the claimed 1ppm accuracy might perhaps start at 100x the cost and need reference calibration. There are published sources for recent atmospheric CO2 levels to compare with if you can get this into a space with clean fresh uncontaminated air, such as https://www.csiro.au/en/research/natural-environment/atmosphere/latest-greenhouse-gas-data/ I've found that you need to be reasonably far away from it to not have your breath affecting it so it does seem to do a reasonable job of CO2 reporting - for a cheap device anyhow. For noting if there's a problem with indoor air currently, this will be useful. Arrived in 4 weeks which is about normal currently.
