For this to work you need this item plus a 12V/DC to 110V/1000Hz convertor https://www.banggood.com/DC-12V-Drive-Controller-For-1-20M-LED-Strip-Light-El-Wire-Glow-Flexible-Neon-Decor-p-1053508.html?cur_warehouse=CN Plus a 12V DC supply with enough amparage for instance a LED driver 12V/6A would do (although this wire has nothing to do with LED technology neihter has a 12V led driver since that is just a generic 12V/DC voltage supply). Connect the led driver to the convertor (make sure to connect the red/plus and the black wire to ground or minus and then just click the connector on the wire on the connector of the convertor. The input 220/110 to the led driver you can connect anyway you want as long as you make sure you don't accidentally connect the the live or neutral to the earth symbol (three stripes).
